Modern Rebel & Co is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Events to lead our sales efforts and oversee our roster of Love Parties. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our clients from start to finish, overseeing the sales, planning, and design process.
Key Responsibilities- Execute events from start to finish, aligning with our unique and inclusive philosophy.
- Drive sales efforts by collaborating with our Community and Operations Manager on sales leads, conducting discovery calls with potential clients, and reporting on goals and tasks.
- Champion our brand by attending industry events, building relationships with local venues and vendors, and supporting our team as needed.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event planning and design, with a minimum of 3 years in wedding planning.
- Strong knowledge of the New York City events industry.
- Experience with Canva, Trello, Google Suite, Slack, and Prismm (formerly AllSeated).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Weekend availability for on-site events and flexible daytime hours.
- A competitive base salary of $70,000, plus 5% commission on event sales.
- 401K with matching.
