Director of Events

Modern Rebel & Co is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Events to drive our sales efforts and oversee our roster of events. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing events from start to finish, managing day-of event coordination assistants, and collaborating with our Community + Operations Manager on sales leads.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement event strategies to drive sales and growth
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and timeline management
- Collaborate with our Community + Operations Manager to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and vendors
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event planning and management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in wedding planning and coordination
- Strong knowledge of the New York City events industry
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
