At GTA TENTS AND EVENTS INC., we are seeking a skilled Tent Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for ensuring that all tent installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position offering an estimated salary range of $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, often outdoors, with occasional travel required.

The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and will be willing to train. We offer comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role. If you possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install tents and other event structures according to client specifications and company standards.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and plan installation procedures.
  • Determine layout and installation procedures to ensure efficient and safe setup.
  • Document and prepare invoices and work orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, taking into account any site-specific conditions.
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, adhering to company standards.
  • Supervise other workers as needed to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms as required.
