Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for managing the recruitment and selection process, as well as strategic account management. This role requires a strong understanding of sourcing strategies, process improvement, and compliance with fair employment practices.

Key Responsibilities

Advise People Leaders and HR on recruitment and selection processes

Partner with business and HR teams to define hiring strategies and provide data to influence hiring decisions

Lead job launch meetings with Hiring Managers

Review and approve job descriptions

Develop innovative sourcing strategies and proactively target passive candidates through various channels for critical and hard-to-fill roles

Pre-screen resumes and utilize recruitment tools and systems to track all candidate information and ensure compliance

Conduct competency-based interviews to obtain relevant job-related information, including work history, skills, abilities, education, and motivation

Present a relevant candidate slate, including assessment notes

Coordinate interview logistics via the interview logistics team where applicable

Support and advise People Leaders and HRMs on the offer process

Ensure the wing-to-wing process is applied across all recruitment activities

Provide bespoke reporting and metrics for internal clients

Ensure general compliance with HR policies, procedures, and practices

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Previous experience in a recruitment role, covering the Canada market, ideally within a corporate/in-house or recruitment agency environment

Demonstrated ability to drive effective recruitment processes and build strong relationships with People Leaders and HRMs through strategic partnership and continuous coaching

Experience in managing the wing-to-wing recruitment cycle, with high volume and complex roles

Proven ability to leverage external market knowledge as part of the sourcing strategy

Proficient in applying creative candidate sourcing techniques and channels to generate talent pipelines, including networking, headhunting, and social media

Experience in assessing and qualifying candidates, using behavioral interviewing techniques

Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Proficient in oral and written French

For roles outside of the USA, this role requires advanced experience in Human Resources and Sourcing and Recruiting, with a knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience

For roles in the USA, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least - years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s) is required
