We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team at Chevron Town Pantry. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.
Key Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Reconcile accounts
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
