Division Manager - Truck & Transportation

Brandt is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Truck & Transportation division in Alberta and British Columbia, based out of Nisku, AB.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute annual budgets for the branches within the assigned area of responsibility
  • Drive sales growth and profitability across all departments, including whole goods, parts, service, and administration
  • Optimize asset management, ensuring efficient turn and aging, and protecting company assets while maintaining the right inventory mix to achieve sales and market share goals
  • Lead and develop a motivated workforce, focusing on long-term success for the company, customers, and employees
  • Evaluate manager performance using KPIs provided by the company and establish targets for long-term success
  • Collaborate with suppliers and participate in events, including customer fly-ins, open-houses, and recruitment events
Requirements:
  • Strong financial acumen, cost management, business planning, and goal setting skills
  • Professional and resourceful style, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, lead by example, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Flexible and adaptable style, with a strong problem-solving ability and a focus on developing and maintaining good customer relations
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the heavy duty equipment industry, with a minimum of 5 years in management and/or business operations
  • Degree or diploma with a business focus is an asset but not mandatory
  • Previous sales and product support experience
  • Valid passport required for travel
