Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Horton's. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and beverage products to our customers.

About This Opportunity

This is a permanent, full-time position working approximately 35-40 hours per week with flexible scheduling. The salary for this role is estimated to be $45,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory management.
  • Hire, train, and develop a team of food service staff, focusing on building a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced food service environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout your shift. You must be able to stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of the role.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
