Job Title: Insulator Helper

We are seeking a skilled Insulator Helper to join our team at Celluloseman, Inc. As an Insulator Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of insulation materials on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the work site.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment and materials are in good working condition.
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as needed.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants on the work site.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure safe and efficient movement of personnel and equipment.
  • Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Work Environment:

As an Insulator Helper, you will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity. You will also work at heights and in confined spaces, requiring a high level of physical fitness and attention to safety protocols.

Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Will train on the job for those with limited experience.
  • Support for newcomers and refugees, including foreign credential recognition and diversity training.
  • Support for Indigenous people, including mentorship, coaching, and cultural competency training.
  • Permanent full-time position with 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency required.
