">The Role: Apparel Fit and Design Technician
">The Apparel Fit and Design Technician is instrumental in ensuring that our garments meet our rigorous standards for aesthetic, fit, and construction quality.
">This role involves collaborating with our cross-functional teams and factories to refine and maintain our fit standards.
">Key Responsibilities:
">1. Lead fit sessions and suggest improvements to the fit process;
">2. Collaborate with the Design team on seasonal product development;
">3. Develop and maintain a library of pattern blocks for efficient approval processes;
">4. Work closely with the Design team from hand-off to fitting stages to establish the desired look and fit of the garment;
">5. Continuously monitor and improve fit standards throughout the production process;
">Requirements:
">1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the apparel industry;
">2. Educational background in Fashion Design;
">3. Experience with fitting procedures, corrections, and PAD pattern-making software knowledge required (LECTRA or others an asset);
">4. Garment construction knowledge;
">5. Bilingual (French/English) with strong communication skills;
">6. Proficient in Illustrator, MS Office Suite, and Bamboo Rose software;
">7. Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work under pressure;
">8. Strong time management and organizational skills;
