We are seeking a highly qualified Director of Operations and Systems to lead our Accounting Services and Financial Systems teams. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the public sector.
As a key member of our Finance department, this individual will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to the Accounting Services and Financial Systems teams. They will oversee accounting services, including cash management, banking, accounts receivable, collections, and accounts payable, and be responsible for the maintenance and ongoing development of integrated financial information systems.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate effective team management and implementing change, resulting in improvements to service quality, staff productivity, and systems efficiency. They will also have advanced knowledge of accounting procedures and financial reporting practices, as well as experience in managing and maintaining systems in a computerized, centralized environment.
