Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at JV Bulk Transport Inc. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Basic security clearance
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
