Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

At CANADA INC., we are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange travel itineraries and make reservations for transportation routes
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods
  • Obtain necessary permits and documents for international routes
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and maintenance
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • International, long-haul, and national transportation experience
  • Willingness to travel cross-border
  • Ability to work 60-70 hours per week
