Job Summary:
The Wolf Creek School Division is seeking a skilled and experienced Transportation Professional to operate a school bus on a permanent route in Clive, Alberta.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a school bus safely and efficiently on a designated route
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the route and surrounding area
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any issues to the Transportation Manager
- Participate in in-house school bus driver evaluations and training
- Meet the requirements for a valid Class 1 or 2 operator's license, S Endorsement or MELT 2-S, and a clean driver's abstract
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 or 2 operator's license
- S Endorsement or MELT 2-S
- Clean driver's abstract
- Ability to pass an in-house school bus driver evaluation
- First Aid Certification (strongly recommended)
- Vulnerable sector check (current within six months)
