We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
About the Role:- Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of illnesses and diseases, including acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

- Assessment and treatment: Demonstrated ability to complete initial and ongoing client assessments.
- Teaching: Ability to teach clients and others both one-on-one and in groups.
- Knowledge integration: Integrates best practice and current research evidence to support professional practice decisions and actions.
- Communication: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Critical thinking: Demonstrated ability to integrate and evaluate pertinent data to problem-solve and make decisions effectively.
