About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our team at Chelsea Hotel, Toronto. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine and actively solicit prospective customers garnered from existing market information and resources.
  • Develop and maintain prioritized customer accounts and prospecting mailing lists.
  • Solicit, prospect, and develop leads and quotes.
  • Generate and present proposals and contracts.
  • Negotiate group bookings within established parameters.
  • Independently generate new business and revenue objectives outlined in the action plans.
  • Prepare and present tailored presentations for prospective clients.
  • Entertain potential and existing clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a seller in hospitality, preferably hotels.
  • Positive attitude and supportive, team-based, approach towards the attainment of the hotel's goals.
  • Computer literacy (Delphi, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to understand and interpret financial data.
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Hotel Management Degree preferred.
