About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our team at Chelsea Hotel, Toronto. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine and actively solicit prospective customers garnered from existing market information and resources.
- Develop and maintain prioritized customer accounts and prospecting mailing lists.
- Solicit, prospect, and develop leads and quotes.
- Generate and present proposals and contracts.
- Negotiate group bookings within established parameters.
- Independently generate new business and revenue objectives outlined in the action plans.
- Prepare and present tailored presentations for prospective clients.
- Entertain potential and existing clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a seller in hospitality, preferably hotels.
- Positive attitude and supportive, team-based, approach towards the attainment of the hotel's goals.
- Computer literacy (Delphi, Word, Excel).
- Ability to understand and interpret financial data.
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Hotel Management Degree preferred.
