Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

Country Casa Montessori and Daycare Ltd. is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to work with our team of experienced educators. The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create individualized learning plans to meet their needs.
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, including daycare equipment and facilities.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or supervisors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to discuss progress and problems of children.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements:
  • Other trades certificate or diploma in early childhood education.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations.
