Job Title: Registered Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Oxford Learning Stouffville. As a RECE, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and engaging learning environment for our young students.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position that requires a strong passion for working with children aged 0-6 years. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator and a strong understanding of the How Does Learning Happen framework.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development in our Toddler/Preschool classroom
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our program's curriculum and policies
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education
Requirements:
  • Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) certification
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator
  • Strong knowledge of the How Does Learning Happen framework and the ELECT Document
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain one
  • Current CPR/Standard First Aid, WHMIS Certificate, Health & Safety Certificate, and AODA Certificate
