The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer service, with the ability to motivate and lead a team of sales floor staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales staff to duties and ensure the store is adequately staffed at all times.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
  • Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that the store is always well-stocked.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales floor staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Fluency in English.
