At Toronto Film School, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards by inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and sample bulk and finished products.
  • Monitor and release all aspects of manufacturing and packaging operation line activities prior to manufacturing/packaging.
  • Perform regular QA/QC in-process checks for production operations.
  • Perform physical and taste testing on finished products.
  • Perform finished goods inspection.
  • Maintain and archive retention samples of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Prepare samples for testing by contract laboratory.
  • Assist with nonconformance and deviation investigations.
  • Perform environmental monitoring.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Trained in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Have read all relevant SOPS.
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English.
Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • Quality Assurance experience.
  • Quality Control experience.
  • Proven previous quality inspection.
