Job Title: Accounting Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Kaushal & Company Chartered Professional Accountants Inc. As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Accounting knowledge and experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and other accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
