Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Community Living Society. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
    • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Accounting Standards
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by management.
    • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
