About the Role

The Director of IT will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our IT strategy, ensuring that our technology infrastructure is scalable, secure, and efficient. This role will also involve managing vendor relationships, overseeing IT projects, and providing guidance and support to team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with our business plan and legislative mandates
  • Act as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) responsible for developing and enforcing cybersecurity policies and procedures
  • Oversee the performance of IT vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
  • Manage IT projects, including the transition from on-premises to cloud-based solutions
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Requirements
  • University degree in Information Technology, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in IT, including senior management experience leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, information management principles, and cybersecurity
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans, managing large-scale projects, and leading organizational change
