Job Title: Executive Director

Edmonton Chamber of Voluntary Organizations is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our team in the development and delivery of services to children, youth, and families.

About the Role:

The Executive Director will be responsible for implementing the organization's mission, vision, and values, as well as developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth and success. This role will oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, including managing staff, developing policies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and success
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, including managing staff and developing policies
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe and inclusive work environment
  • Develop and execute fund development strategies to support sustainability
  • Build and maintain relationships with community members, partner organizations, and funders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, Community Development, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive senior management experience in human services or the voluntary sector
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to positively influence others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
