Senior Android Software Developer

Winnipeg Technical Services & Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing advanced security applications for a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms
  • Work closely with back-end development teams to integrate mobile applications with server-side systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile applications
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure application stability and performance
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in Android development
  • Expert knowledge of Java and Android APIs
  • Strong understanding of Android UX concepts, including dynamic UIs with fragments
  • Experience with activity lifecycles and service concepts
  • Strong passion for the industry and a continuously expanding skill set
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS Computer Science or BE Computer Engineering
  • Contributions to a large open-source project
