Job Title: Senior Android Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Software Developer to join our team at Winnipeg Technical Services & Solutions. As a Senior Android Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mobile applications for Android devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for Android devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain mobile applications using Java and Android APIs
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects and meet project deadlines
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in Android development
  • Expert in Java and Android APIs
  • Expert in Android UX concepts including Dynamic UIs with Fragments
  • Expert understanding of Activity lifecycles and Service concepts
  • Expert understanding of dynamic data transfer and syncing in mobile environments
  • Solid understanding of Android power management
  • Strong Android UX design instincts and grasp of best practices
  • Strong passion for the industry and a continuously expanding skill set
  • Strong communication skills
  • Desire to work on cutting-edge products with integral real-world applications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS Computer Science / BE Computer Engineering
  • Contributions to a large open source project
