We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Analyst to join our team in Montreal. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by performing a variety of accounting and finance tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the finance department in preparing financial reports and analyzing financial data
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
  • Perform general accounting tasks, including issuing invoices, processing payments, and maintaining reconciliation of accounts
  • Review and process vendor invoices for payment and maintain AP records
  • Identify financial trends, opportunities, and potential risks to enable management to make informed decisions
Requirements
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in an accounting role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Excel
  • Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal English
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
