Inventory Coordinator

Job Summary
The Kativik Municipal Housing Bureau is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory management system, ensuring that all materials and equipment are properly stored, tracked, and accounted for.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the orderliness and maintenance of storage and outdoor areas of warehouses;
- Perform location tagging and coding of materials and equipment;
- Receive and ship goods between communities and from suppliers;
- Enter all inventory transactions into the inventory management system;
- Inform staff of inventory transactions and track them;
- Prepare documentation for inventory transfers and invoicing;
- Apply recognized laws and regulations related to hazardous materials management and workplace safety;
- Perform cyclical inventory counts and complete inventory adjustments as required;
- Conduct annual inventory counts and report results to the Inventory Coordinator;
- Work collaboratively with staff in maintenance and procurement departments and communities;
Requirements
- High school graduate;
- Forklift driver's license (asset);
- 1-2 years experience in stocktaking (asset);
- Working knowledge of WHMIS system (asset);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs;
- Valid territorial driving license;
- Ability to speak and write fluently in two of the three languages (English, French, and Inuktitut).
Working Conditions
The work is performed both indoors and outdoors, and the successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Salary and Benefits
The Kativik Municipal Housing Bureau offers a competitive salary and benefits package, with a starting salary of $24.43 and the potential for higher compensation based on experience.
