Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Implementation Specialist to join our eLitigation team. The successful candidate will have a background in software rollouts, including requirements gathering, environment setup and install, configuration/development, training, go-live, and support.

The Software Implementation Specialist will work closely with customers as a primary representative for Journal Technologies, coordinating and completing various activities in the configuration process. This role requires expertise in case management software, business rules, data conversion, document/report specification gathering, development, and review.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure case management software using built-in administrative user interface, including forms, searches, and workflow.
  • Create business rules within the software using Groovy and Velocity.
  • Gather specifications for and review data conversion.
  • Actively work on document/report specification gathering, development, and review.
  • Conduct onsite administrative and user training, and provide go-live assistance.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, and knowledge of project management principles.
  • 3+ years of professional experience with querying relational databases, preferably TSQL or PL/SQL.
  • Proven experience as an Implementation Specialist, preferably within a similar environment.
  • Proven ability to maintain focus and work effectively with multiple demands.
  • Knowledgeable on most: Microsoft SQL database, Oracle database, report software such as Jasper or Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL reporting services, Java, Groovy, and Velocity.
