Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and pro-active Vice President for our Civil Division to join our leadership team. This key leadership role will be responsible for driving the strategic direction, operational excellence, and profitability of the Civil Division. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the local civil construction industry, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing civil projects of varying size and type.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the strategic vision and operational plans for the Civil Division, aligning with the overall objectives of the company.
  • Oversee the division's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
  • Ensure the efficient delivery of civil projects by enhancing processes, establishing best practices, and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners, enhancing the company's reputation and market position.
  • Ensure that all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies, promoting a culture of safety at all levels.
Requirements:
  • Post Secondary Education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in the construction industry, with a focus on private sector civil projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale civil construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
