About the Role
We are seeking an experienced OSP Design Lead to join our team at RECRUITMENT PARTNERS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing fibre optic communications network systems to client design specifications. They will incorporate field changes and as-built changes from draft prints to the system database, prepare permitting packages, and manage the approval process. The OSP Design Lead will also determine the method to design the network with minimal impact to the system and customer, and minimize related construction cost while ensuring the quality of design.

The ideal candidate will have a Post Secondary Diploma in Electrical, Civil, Architectural Technology, or another relevant field, or equivalent work experience. They will have 5+ years of experience in engineering fibre optic networks and excellent knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD. Additionally, they will have knowledge of municipal and 3rd party permitting processes for building fibre optic networks.
