We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a Heavy-Duty Cleaner at Kenlar Investments Inc.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our properties, including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and performing minor repairs.
Key Responsibilities:- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and scrub floors, walls, and ceilings, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt.
- Minor Repairs: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
- Snow and Ice Removal: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
- Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaning machines, polishing machines, steam cleaners, and snowblowers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in cleaning and maintenance.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), work in all weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, and will be required to work in all weather conditions.
