At ATCO EnPower, we're seeking a talented Policy and Regulatory Expert to join our team. As a key member of our corporate team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the assessment of potential impacts from various public policy, regulatory, and related market issues on our growth strategy and operations.

Reporting to the Senior Policy Advisor, you'll be responsible for monitoring, keeping informed of, and understanding upcoming policy changes, emerging regulations, engagement opportunities, and changing political trends and public sentiment affecting our growth strategies in relevant jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities will include evaluating and communicating policy and regulatory impacts on our projects and growth strategy, identifying regulatory or policy risks and opportunities in the provincial, national, and global policy context, and supporting the development of policy and regulatory advocacy positions on emerging government or regulatory initiatives.

As a Policy and Regulatory Expert, you'll have the opportunity to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and industry associations to progress our development activities and facilitate internal collaboration and alignment of positions in respect of our strategies.

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of electricity markets, including market fundamentals, and the ability to evaluate financial and commercial impacts of government policy and regulatory decisions on our strategic initiatives.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or public policy, or a related field, and + years of progressive experience and knowledge in electricity markets.
