Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at LITTLE CHAMPS DAY CARE CENTRE INC. The successful candidate will provide support to our early childhood educators in creating a safe and engaging environment for children aged 0-5 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Assist with ordering supplies and equipment.
  • Support early childhood educators in keeping records.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
  • Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and team player.
