At Queen City Pizza Inc., we are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as managing kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordinate special events and plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
- Determine the size of food portions and costs, and requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef, and inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Organize buffets and banquets, and manage kitchen operations
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
