Office Clerk Evening Shift

We are seeking a skilled Office Clerk to join our team in the Valleyfield region. As an Office Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the day-to-day operations of the office. This includes coordinating with suppliers, transport companies, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and greet customers in a professional and timely manner
- Process shipping office documents related to bills of lading and purchase orders
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving document trails
- Plan routes for deliveries and ensure timely receipt of products
- Respond to general inquiries, deliveries, payments, inventory, and shipments from sales, customer service specialists, buyers, and warehouse personnel
- Ensure customers are treated professionally and in a timely manner at the front desk
- Maintain effective records management to provide control, accessibility, and consistency to the Operations Manager and Warehouse Supervisors
- Ensure required documentation is complete, accurate, and accounted for in a timely manner and in accordance with established processes
- Schedule product deliveries and receipts by truck on a daily basis
- Enter shipping and receiving information into the system
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Order and maintain inventory of office supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year experience in operations/warehouse
- Strong mathematical and clerical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and unforeseen circumstances
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and under tight deadlines in a professional manner
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work with computer systems and the Office suite
- Ability to work in a team environment
