Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Clerk to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory, processing incoming requisitions, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Store items in a warehouse, tool room, or supply area, and maintain accurate records on the inventory control system.
  • Requisition Processing: Process incoming requisitions, prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies, and issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use.
  • Warehouse Operations: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials, and ship, deliver, or pick up parts, products, or equipment as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, requisitions, and warehouse operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Equipment: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, pallet lifters, and steel-toed safety boots.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Urban area, industrial facility or establishment, and manufacture.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
