Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Patient Care Specialist. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated nurse to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and make a positive impact on patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient needs through telephone triage and provide appropriate care
  • Administer medication, including injections, and document medication given or prescribed by the ordering physician
  • Identify patient and family education needs and provide instruction
  • Recognize and respond to emergency situations as appropriate
  • Facilitate the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician's office

Requirements:

  • Active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing
  • Experience or training in a medical healthcare facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Current BLS certification or to be completed within three months of employment
