We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Care Assistant to support a couple in their home in Carman, Manitoba. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing care to individuals with limited mobility and chronic health conditions.

About the Position

This is a part-time opportunity that requires the individual to assist with personal care tasks, such as transferring the client from bed to wheelchair or bathroom, and helping with daily living activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing emotional support and companionship to our clients
  • Assisting with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Helping with meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Escorting clients to appointments and social events

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with individuals with limited mobility and chronic health conditions
  • Ability to provide emotional support and companionship
  • Physical ability to perform personal care tasks and transfers
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
