Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Specialist to join our team at Providence Health Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their physical, social, and emotional needs.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and providing emotional support.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Completion of a post-graduate operating room course or two years' recent experience in an equivalent setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
