We are looking for a skilled Financial Record Manager to join our team at Patron Career Staffing. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, managing various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining Financial Records: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Managing Accounts: Utilize computerized bookkeeping systems to manage various accounts, including journal entries, reconciliations, and trial balances.
  • Preparing Financial Statements: Generate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the Financial Record Manager will also be responsible for:

  • Cheque Management: Calculate and issue cheques for payroll, utilities, taxes, and other expenses.
  • Tax Compliance: Complete and file tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms, and other government documents.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports to assist in decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with experience working with computerized bookkeeping systems. A secondary school graduation certificate is required, and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field is preferred.
