Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our culinary team at B.C. Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate and manage food and supply inventory to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain quality control standards by ensuring that all food and service meet our high standards.
  • Manage records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

  • Assist with settlement needs such as housing, transportation, and childcare.

Support for Youths:

  • Provide on-the-job training tailored to the needs of our youth staff.

Support for Indigenous People:

  • Offer mentorship and coaching opportunities to support the growth and development of our Indigenous staff.

Support for Mature Workers:

  • Provide awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.

Work Environment:

  • Work Language: English
