Job Title: Harvesting Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Harvesting Labourer to join our team at SANTAN ESTATES (NIAGARA) INC. As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective harvesting of crops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy crop growth
  • Use the technique of hoeing between rows to maintain soil quality
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to prevent damage to crops
  • Cut agricultural crops at the optimal time for maximum yield
  • Hand harvest vegetables and other crops
  • Harvest seedlings and pack them for transportation
  • Examine products for quality and readiness for market
  • Clean and maintain work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset, but not required
  • Permanent employment opportunity
  • 30 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
