We are seeking a Wholesale Buyer to join our team at PhoneBox. This role will involve establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers to meet the demands of our resale operations. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role and possess strong negotiation and communication skills.



Key Responsibilities


  • Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets
  • Review requirements and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale
  • Supervise the work of other buyers


Requirements


  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and other software


Working Conditions


  • This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Public transportation is available

Language

This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The work language is English.
