Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at WHITE SPOT RESTAURANT. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, receiving and storing supplies, and assisting with food preparation and cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks and under pressure.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a client-focused attitude.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
  • English language proficiency required.
  • 35-40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
