Senior Process Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Specialist to join our team at Morson Talent.
About the Role
This is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days per week in the North York, ON office. The contract duration is 12 months, with an option to extend by 2 years in 1-year increments.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, project controls, engineering, and construction management processes. They will be responsible for translating these processes into detailed procedures or instructions, facilitating interviews with subject matter experts, and developing and reviewing draft procedures for completeness, comprehensibility, and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Translate project management, project controls, engineering, and construction management processes into detailed procedures or instructions.
- Facilitate interviews with subject matter experts and write user-friendly procedures based on their knowledge and requirements.
- Develop and review draft procedures for completeness, comprehensibility, and accuracy through continuous coordination with subject matter experts.
- Create and maintain word or excel form templates that meet the needs of the target audience, adhere to organizational and legal standards, and incorporate process steps in a sequential order.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of practical experience as an effective procedure writer in project management, project controls, engineering, and/or construction management environments.
- Proficiency in procedure writing and building procedures based on process mapping, including flowcharts.
- Specialized knowledge in Project and Construction Management industry processes, with the capability to translate those processes into written procedures.
- Effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Proficient in understanding complex interdepartmental processes.
- Ability to handle multiple procedural developments simultaneously within defined timelines and specific directives.
- Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline (e.g. Construction Project Management, Process Management, Engineering).
Additional Requirements
- Certification or courses completed in Project Management disciplines are an asset.
- Familiarity with public sector transportation agencies is a plus.
Work Environment
- This role is part of a large portfolio of projects managed by ECE, with opportunities for interfacing with senior management.
Salary Range
$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
