About the Job: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Johal Family Caregiver. As a Home Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care and companionship to our elderly clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Change non-sterile dressings and collect specimens
  • Feed or assist in feeding, and plan therapeutic diets and menus
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Requirements:

  • CPR and First Aid Certificates
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience and understanding
  • Good communication skills

Work Environment: This is a permanent, full-time position, working 32.5 hours per week. The language of work is English, and the work setting is in the clients' homes. Note: Optional accommodation may be available at no charge on a live-in basis, but this is not a condition of employment.
