Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Faculty, aligning with the University's strategic plan and priorities.
  • Develop and implement effective plans to promote research, pedagogical, and scholarly excellence within the Faculty.
  • Nurture mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including industry partners, government agencies, and community organizations.
  • Manage resources effectively, ensuring the Faculty's financial and operational sustainability.
  • Lead and manage a team of faculty, staff, and students, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Requirements

  • Hold a distinguished academic appointment at the rank of Full Professor.
  • Have a record of outstanding senior academic and administrative leadership in education or a related field.
  • Bring a deep commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and practice, as well as a broad understanding of the range of scholarship found within the Faculty.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative, collegial, and inspirational leadership style, with the ability to empower faculty, staff, and students.
  • Have a visionary and innovative approach to leadership and education, with excellent communication skills.
