Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Tidewaters Liquor Store. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage staff and assign duties to ensure excellent customer service and efficient store operations.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and develop strategies to increase sales.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement pricing and credit policies.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, and develop and implement marketing strategies.
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure profitability.
- Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in retail management.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with diverse customer bases and staff.
- Knowledge of market research and trends.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management.
