**Job Description**

As an Advanced Practice Professional in Radiation Medicine, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide expert care to patients undergoing radiation treatment for cancer. Your role will involve assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' medical histories, symptoms, and treatment goals.
  • Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Collaborating with radiation oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective care delivery.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and outcomes.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also have:

  • A master's degree in nursing or a related field.
  • Current registration as a nurse practitioner in the province of British Columbia.
  • Experience working in radiation medicine or a related field.
  • Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
