Job Title: Beneficiary Attendant

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Beneficiary Attendant to join our team at COGIR Immobilier. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, well-being, and safety of our residents.

Job Summary:

The Beneficiary Attendant will provide personalized care and support to residents, focusing on their physical and emotional needs. This includes administering medication, assisting with daily activities, and reporting any changes in a resident's health to the on-call nurse.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and codes of ethics
  • Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
  • Report any noticeable changes in a resident's mental or physical health to the on-call nurse
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a resident's action plan based on observations
  • Proactively assist and support residents
  • Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
  • Carry out health and hygienic care to residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity
  • Answer call bells and respond to emergency situations
Requirements:
  • PDSB training
  • Up-to-date CPR/AED training certificates
